Command line interface Please refer to the program help file for more details. You can also directly interface with Voicent Gateway using VoiceXML and HTTP. Please refer to developer tutorial for more details. Interface at this level requires more work. Using the standard HTTP interface through out the Voicent Product line enables easy integration. You can use any programming languages for your project. Since most programming languages have HTTP client libraries, you should be able to quickly put together your application without learning the details of HTTP protocol. Samples using C++, Perl, and PHP are provided under the developer section on our website. 2. Do you offer a developer SDK? Yes. You can also join the developer network for free. 3. How can I integrate my network monitoring software with Voicent product in order to make alert phone calls? For higher level integration, you should use AutoReminder. Most network monitoring software can automatically invoke an alert script for specific network conditions. In the script, you can use the AutoReminder command line interface to make phone calls. It is also possible to use HTTP interface in your script or program. If you have a call escalation process, then you can use the Call Till Confirm feature of the BroadcastByPhone product. Please check the program help file for more details. For more flexible integration, you can use the Voicent Gateway interface. You need to understand simple VoiceXML in order to use it. Our developer tutorial has samples for you to use. Voicent also provide integration service. Please contact sales for more details. 4. Can I invoke AutoReminder or Gateway from my website? Yes. The Voicent product uses standard web interface, HTTP protocol, for communications. Please see question 1 for details. 5. Can I check my email with my phone and get an alert call when I receive an important message? Yes. Please check out a free program from http://www.emailtophone.com. You can also write your own program using the interface we provided. 6. I want to use Voicent Gateway to develop and sell my own application. How does the license scheme work? You are authorized to include and distribute the shareware version of Voicent Gateway for free.
