Use a supported voice modem (Voicent 3025 voice modem) will solve this problem. Order a supported voice modem |

Please make sure that your phone wall jack is connected to the LINE jack on the modem. |
| Are you using an analog phone line? | |
Modem will not work with a digital line. Most residential phone lines are analog line. If you are behind a corporate PBX boxes, make sure to get an analog line, like the one used by a fax machine |
| Do you have dial tone on the phone line? | |
Use a spare phone and connect it to the modem PHONE jack. Your phone should work normally even if the computer is turned off. You can use the phone to test the phone line to see if it works or not. Call in again to see
whether the regular phone rings or not. |
| Do you have other telephony software running? | |
If you have other telephony software running, they might answer the incoming call before Voicent Gateway does. These software include answering machine software, fax software, or remote access software. |
