Cloud Pricing FAQ

Does Voicent charge per contact?

Nope. Voicent does not limit your number of contacts, and you can add and import as many contacts as you like without any extra fees.

How are calls billed?

Calls are billed from pick up to hang up in 30/6 second increments (see below for how this pricing works). The cost per call depends only on the length of the call, not your message length. The billing plan that you sign up for determines the cost per minute.

What's the difference between 30/6 second increment and 60 second increment billing?
  • 60 second increment billing: The minimum billing length is 60 seconds followed by 60 second increments. A 3 second call will be billed as though the call lasted 1 minute. A 65 second call will be billed at 120 seconds. With 60 second increments, your monthly bill might end up 10 times more expensive than a 30/6 billing plan.
  • 30/6 second increment billing: The minimum billing length is 30 seconds followed by 6 second increments. A 3 second call will be billed at 30 seconds. A 65 second call will be billed at 66 seconds (that's half of what a 60 second increment would charge).
Can I upgrade my plan?

Absolutely. Any time.

Does this pricing include Call Center cloud features?

Yes; Call Center features (agent dashboard, predictive dialing, campaigns, etc) are included in all plans. We do not charge your agents' log-in session times. They are only charged for the length of a call that is transferred/connected.

What if I reach my calling minutes limit?

If you reach your calling minutes limit, you may upgrade your plan or buy more calling credits at the rate associated with your calling plan.

Can I downgrade my plan?

Certainly. Downgrading takes effect immediately.

Do my calling minutes expire?

Calling minutes expire at the end of the month.

Does my plan include international calls and texting?

Our cloud service includes calls to USA and Canada. If you would like to call/text people who are outside USA and Canada, you can use our on-premise software. It will work anywhere in the world with your local phone service and text messaging service.
