It seems that Skype has a beta version of business application that may suit my needs. It requires a SIP certified PBX. Is Voicent’s flex pbx SIP certified to accept the Skype beta program?

Actually, ALL Voicent programs can utilize Skype SIP directly without a PBX system. That of cause, include Flex PBX.

Since SIP is the standard for VOIP service, you do not have to go with Skype. Almost all VOIP services use SIP. At this moment, unlike the regular skype subscriptions, Skype for SIP does not offer the most competitive calling rates. For a sample of other SIP services, please see use SIP for Voicent.
