Overview
We are actively sourcing for an experienced and motivated Director of Program & Release Management to oversee the entire Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC). The ideal individual for this role will be highly analytical and able to provide a quantitative approach to processes and programs. Additionally, they will provide program leadership, strategic planning, and project management functions by working collaboratively with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams to execute against a common plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive overall program management and execution plans for the development, launch and maintenance of products by working with product management, engineering, technical cloud operations, customer success and professional services organizations.
  • Define, implement and improve processes and practices for planning, executing, tracking, and reporting to ensure product and service release goals are achieved.
  • Direct program activities, conduct quality reviews, manage risk mitigation and change control processes, and communicate status to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders across both technology and business organizations.
  • Manage a distributed team of 6 Project Managers/Scrum Masters. Provide leadership, strategic direction, coaching and mentoring to direct reports
  • Drive coordination and results with indirect reports and stakeholders outside the immediate organization

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in software program management
  • Experience in developing software PDLC and SDLC processes
  • Experience in delivering products for cloud/SaaS deployments
  • Significant Agile experience, including as Scrum Master and/or Product Owner. Experience with Agile transformation.
  • Experience leading and managing complex, large-scale, cross-organizational, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Good understanding of New Product/Feature Introduction (NPI/NFI) best practices
  • Proven track record of solving complex problems, resolving conflict, and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
